IOSH Safety for Senior Executives and Directors provides an understanding of the moral, legal, and business case for proactive safety, health and risk management, and of strategic safety and health management and its integration into holistic business management systems and procedures.

Pre-requisites
Learners should have a suitable standard of English language to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.
To benefit from the course, delegates should be employed in a director’s role; owners of small and medium-sized enterprises; or executive/non-executive directors of larger organisations with governance structures.
Assessment
Every participant who has completed the course will take the end-of-course assessment. This consists of a personal commitment (action plan) relating to the learning on the course, in which the participant writes up to three actions that they commit to taking. Commitments should be appropriate for the level of responsibility the participant has in their organisation.
