Handling flexible working requests: getting to grips with the new rules.

About the webinar

The rules on employees’ right to request flexible working are changing from April 2024.

The changes include:

  • making the entitlement a day one right;
  • allowing employees to make two such requests in a year (rather than one);
  • reducing the timeframe for employers to respond to such requests from three months to two; and
  • requiring you to hold a meeting with the employee to consult with them before rejecting a statutory flexible working request.

In this free webinar, our expert employment lawyers will look in detail at the new rules and their practical impact on how you handle flexible working requests going forwards.

Who should attend?

This event is suitable for all line managers, team leaders and HR Advisers who will need to be trained on how to handle a flexible working request under the new rules in force from April 2024.
