Apprenticeship levels and the qualification achieved:
Intermediate Level:- Competence-based element - NVQ Level 2
- Knowledge-based element - Technical Certificate Level 2
- Functional Skills - Level (plus Level 2 in some cases)
- Employment Responsibilities and Rights (for those aged 16-25)
Advanced Level:
- Competence-based element - NVQ Level 3
- Knowledge-based element - Technical Certificate Level 3
- Functional Skills - Level 2/3
- Employment Responsibilities and Rights (for those aged 16-25)
Higher Level:
- NVQ Level 3/4
- Foundation Degree (HNC/HND minimum)
- Functional Skills Level 3 (Level 4/5 optional)
